STUA is a Spanish designer furniture brand that has been creating iconic and durable designs for over 40 years. In its 40-year history, STUA has created only 20 designs—a small but carefully curated collection in which every piece has been thought out down to the last detail.
STUA is based on the philosophy of slow design – design that stems from the creators' own lives and needs. Their furniture is both soft and sensually curved, yet internally sturdy, suitable for both home and public spaces. Inspired by collaborations with leading fashion designers, they believe that beauty should be visible everywhere.
Laclasica is a chair that looks as if it has always been here – familiar, cozy, and natural, but in fact it is a completely new and contemporary creation. The seat and backrest made of laminated wood flow smoothly into the solid legs, creating an almost sculptural form, reinforced by an elegant aluminum detail under the seat.
The design by Jesús and Jon Gasca impresses with its unique "petal" legs and a top that can be oval or round. Made of laminated wood with precision and attention to detail, it continues STUA's tradition of creating furniture in which lightness and sensual curves become art.
